OUR MINISTRIES

Men's Bible Study   |  Tues. 9 AM   | Founder's Hall

Men's Tuesday morning bible Study has been meeting for over 20 years. We generally use a study guide to have in-depth study and discussion of individual books of the Bible. Beginning August 14th we will begin a study on the book of Mark, titled "Life By His Word".

J.O.Y (Just Older Youth) Bible Study  |  Weds. 1:00 PM   |  Founder's Hall
The book of Hebrews
Even though the author of Hebrews is unknown, it is evident that it was written to encourage Christians in a time of great trial and struggle.  Through Hebrews we learn how to appreciate the Old Testament more deeply and apply it to our lives.  It also deepens our assurance of the absolute supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus Christ who accomplished complete salvation for all who trust in Him.

Morning Men's Bible Study | Thurs. 7 AM | Bakery By the Lake
Starting in August the Morning Men's Bible Study will be diving into the Book of Isaiah. Isaiah prophesied from 739–681 BC to a nation that had turned a deaf ear to the Lord. Instead of serving Him with humility and offering love to their neighbors, the nation of Judah offered meaningless sacrifices in God’s temple at Jerusalem and committed injustices throughout the nation. The book of Isaiah provides us with the most comprehensive prophetic picture of Jesus Christ in the entire Old Testament. In addition to its gospel message, the book of Isaiah clearly articulates the sins of God’s people—dealing with others unjustly which resulted in their offering hypocritical sacrifices to God. Adult Bible Class, available for any age, focuses on digging deeper into the word of God. Giving us strength and knowledge to help us live our Faith to the fullest.
The Preschool through Kindergarten class shares the word of God through song, lessons, crafts and creative interaction, to help these young ones get excited about their faith and their God.
Our 1st through 3rd class uses some of the same ideas as our younger group but spends a little more time engaging the kids to dig a little bit deeper into the word.
Our 4th & 5th grade class entices the kids to be more interactive with their Faith, providing them real world scenerios and ideas on how to share, strengthen, and grow their faith in today's world.
ENGAGE is our SML class for Jr. and Sr. High Youth. We meet in the youth room and dig deep into our faith, real life challenges, growth and Bible knowledge.

At his event,  25,000 Lutheran youth travel to a city such as New Orleans, Orlando, San Antonio, or Minneapolis. They spend a week going to lots of Bible studies and break out sessions on topics that relate to what they are going through or what they are interested in. They take part in service projects and attend massive large group events in an arena or dome that include amazing worship music and speakers. Its awesome for them to get the chance to be in a place and meet so many other youth who are just like them from all over the country.  It is truly an amazing life changing event.
